Chhattisgarh’ : The encounter in Chhattisgarh’s Gariaband district, specifically in the Kulhadi Ghat area of Mainpur, has resulted in the elimination of 14 Naxalites, including six women. Security forces, led by personnel from the Raipur Range, engaged in the operation and recovered 14 weapons, including a self-loading rifle, from the site.
According to Raipur Range IG Amresh Mishra, the search operation in the area is still ongoing to ensure complete safety and identify further threats. This encounter marks a significant development in the ongoing efforts to counter Naxalite activities in the region.
