Ghugus (Chandrapur): Municipal Council Ghugus organized a cleanliness shramdaan campaign under the Swachhta Hi Seva, Ek Tarikh, Ek Ghanta campaign during the Swachhta Fortnight to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 1 October 2023. Also, under the Meri Mitti Mera Desh campaign, Amrit Kalash Yatra was taken out by taking the Panchpran oath in the Municipal Council Ghugus.
During the said procession, the city residents offered soil from every house in this urn.
All the officers and staff of the Municipal Council along with Chief Officer Municipal Council Ghugus along with Police Inspector Police Station Ghugus, Senior Citizens Service Board and many other citizens spontaneously participated in this activity.
