Attractive prizes through quiz contest
Chandrapur : According to the directives of the central government, a labor donation campaign for cleanliness under the Swachhata Pandharwara will be conducted by the Chandrapur Municipal Corporation on the theme “Ek Taas Ek Saath” on October 1 at 10 am. For this, public spaces are going to be cleaned in 17 wards of the city by various teams with the help of citizens.
On this occasion, along with cleanliness, tree planting, painting will be done and quiz contest will also be held and attractive prizes will be given to the winners. Tukumgate, Vadgaon, Shastrinagar, Vivek Nagar, M.E.L, Bengali Camp, Industrial Estate, Babupeth, Jatpura Naginabagh, Ekori Mandirmi Bhanapeth, Vitthal Mandir, Mahakali Ward, Bhiwapur, Lalpeth Colliery etc. One hour labor donation will be done with the participation of citizens.
October 2nd is celebrated as “Clean India Day” to commemorate the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. This year, on the occasion of “Swachh Bharat Day 2023”, the activity “Swachhta Hi Seva” will be implemented jointly by Swachh Bharat Mission Rural and Urban from 15th September to 2nd October. Date- One Hour” Cleanliness campaign will be implemented through Shramdan for cleanliness.
Under the ‘Cleanliness Hi Seva’ initiative, Chandrapur Municipal Corporation is appealing to the citizens to voluntarily participate in the Shramdan activity for cleanliness to be done for one hour on Sunday 1st October 2023 at 10 am at the place given by the Municipal Corporation.
